KAWARTHA LAKES-City of Kawartha Lakes OPP conducted a commercial motor vehicle inspection blitz yesterday in Oakwood.
Officials say seven commercial motor vehicles were inspected, 4 of which were taken out of service for issues including issues with brakes and a cracked air chamber.
In total 7 provincial offence notices were written for these infractions and documentation violations.
All 4 commercial motor vehicles were repaired in the inspection lot and police say the roads are safer as a result of the CMV Inspector Provincial Officers
