Woodville Resident Facing Impaired Driving Charge

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 48-year-old Woodville resident is facing an impaired driving charge following a collision.

On November 16, 2025, at approximately 1:58 p.m., officers were alerted to a single vehicle collision on Woodville Road in Eldon Township. Police say, upon arrival, police learned the driver had initially failed to remain at the scene but later returned. Through investigation, the driver was arrested and charged with impaired driving offences.

Andrew Clarke has been charged with Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus).

Clarke is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. As a result of the charge, CLARKE received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

“If you plan on drinking or consuming drugs, plan to not drive. Arrange for a designated driver, take a taxi or public transit, or make another safe plan that keeps impaired driving out of the picture.” said police.
