BANCROFT-Bancroft OPP has charged one person following a disturbance in the town of Bancroft.
On Monday, October 6, 2025, shortly after 12:30 p.m., officers were made aware of an assault that had occurred at a local business. Upon further investigation officers learned of several historical incidents with the parties involved.
As a result, Stanley Wannamaker , 67, of Bancroft has been charged with the following:
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Uttering threats – 4 counts
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Criminal harassment – 2 counts
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Assault
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on November 4, 2025.
