KAWARTHA LAKES-Starting Tuesday April 29, 2025, Kent Street West between Highway 35 and Angeline Street in Lindsay will undergo upgrades.
The City says this project will be completed in two phases – the first phase will be five weeks worth of prep work, that’ll happen Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm. During this time, there will be single lane closures.
Once all of the prep work has been completed the major paving will start. To minimize the impact on traffic and local businesses, paving will be completed at night between the hours of 7pm and 7am. During the nighttime work, sections of the road will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations. Dates for the nighttime work will be shared once they are confirmed.
Weather permitting, the project is anticipated to be completed by June 30, 2025.
