KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP respondedd to a serious single vehicle collision on September 13th at approximately 5 p.m. on Cedar Tree Road near Bobcaygeon.
Officers say they spoke to witnesses who stated they saw the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver sustained serious injuries due to the collision. EMS transported them to the Lindsay airport, where they were airlifted to a trauma hospital.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators assisted in the investigation of the collision.
The road was closed for several hours but has been reopened since.
