KAWARTHA LAKES-Kevin Avery was given a less than 10% chance of survival after being diagnosed with cancer in 2018. It started out in his testicle and spread to his lungs and brain. He endured having a testicle removed, brain surgery, chemo, radiation and two stem cell transplants. The Lindsay resident has been cancer-free for the last three years and is sharing his journey of healing and self-discovery.
