Serious Crash Closes County Road 507

PETERBOROUGH- Peterborough County OPP and emergency crews are currently at the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision that occurred on County Road 507 between County Road 36 and Mississauga Dam Road at approximately 11:45 a.m.

Witnesses say the head-on crash involved a northbound Purolator truck and a southbound SUV. Ornge air ambulance landed at Flynn’s Corners to transport the 24-year-old male driver of the SUV passenger vehicle to a Toronto area trauma centre for treatment of undetermined injuries.

Both lanes of County Road 507 are currently closed while OPP officers and emergency crews deal with the collision scene.

Please remain away from the area and plan alternate routes until further notice.

County Road 507 closure will remain in place while police investigate.
