KAWARTHA LAKES-One man is in life-threatening condition after a serious collision Friday afternoon on Burys Green Road north of Fenelon Falls.
At approximately 3:25 p.m. City of Kawartha Lakes OPP along with Fire and EMS responded to the single-vehicle rollover. The driver, a 49-year-old male from Fenelon Falls was airlifted to a Toronto area trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. The only passenger in the vehicle was also transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Burys Green Road was closed for several hours between Walkers Road and Hyler Line while members trained in collision reconstruction measured and documented the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
