Assault Charges Laid After Alleged Pepper Spray Incident In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 34-year-old Lindsay resident is facing charges after pepper spray was allegedly used during dispute.

Police say on Tuesday September 20, 2022 at 11:24pm officers responded to a disturbance call on William Street North in Lindsay. The involved individuals were having a dispute over alleged stolen property. During the dispute, the suspect allegedly sprayed pepper spray at the victim. As a result of an investigation, 34-year-old Chris Duke of Lindsay has been charged with assault with a weapon and administer noxious thing. 

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on October 27, 2022.
