UPDATE: The pedestrian has died of their injuries
KAWARTHA LAKES-City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in Fenelon Falls.
Officers and emergency services responded to reports of a passenger vehicle striking a pedestrian on Colborne Street (County Road 121) at Francis Street in Fenelon Falls this afternoon just after 4:30 p.m.
The pedestrian was transported to hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
The identity of the deceased will be withheld to allow for family notification.
Colborne Street will remain closed between Helen Street and Bond Street for several hours while OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionists complete their investigation.
