KAWARTHA LAKES-This past weekend the Fenelon Fair was back with all the usual events. Contributors put countless hours towards all of the exhibitions in the hall, and the quilts were particularly beautiful. Visitors could even try their hand at quilting.
The event featured the horse, pony, truck, tractor, lawn tractor and pedal tractor pulls, along with horse, cattle and sheep shows. Organizer Faye McGee said, “it is fantastic to see the turnout this year, and to have all the support of our volunteers. This year the attendance and events were better than anticipated.” As always, the demolition derby was the biggest draw of the weekend.
