After Two Years Absence Canada Day 2022 Celebrations In Fenelon Falls Were A Hit

This is part of our partnership with Maryboro Lodge The Fenelon Falls Museum and was written and photographed by Glenn Walker. Photographs also by Chantal Soutar and Geoff Coleman

KAWARTHA LAKES-After a two-year COVID-induced hiatus, Fenelon Falls’ Canada Day returned with many all new activities. This years’ festivities included a series of concerts in the park; an artists, artisans and psychics fair on Water Street; Canada Day on the Patio at the Royal Canadian Legion; a Comedy Night at the Grove Theatre; the Rotary Car Draw; Community Barbeques; Family Fun activities at Maryboro Lodge and a Farmer’s Market.

Despite a morning shower, attendance was very strong this year and it was wonderful to see the return of large public events. Many thanks to all the volunteers who contributed to making Canada Day 2022 such a success.
