Peterborough Police Identify Victim In Fatal Shooting On Saturday

PETERBOROUGH-Peterborough Police have identified the victim in a fatal shooting on Park Street North on Saturday.

Police say despite life-saving measures by officers, EMS and medical professionals, 37-year-old Shawn Singh of Peterborough succumbed to injuries suffered in the shooting.

Officers responded to the area of Park Street North and Sherbrooke Street just after 2:00pm on Saturday, July 2, 2022 after receiving a 9-1-1 call. No arrests have been made and the suspect remains at large.

As the investigation continues, detectives are asking anyone who may have dashcam or video footage from the area of Park Street North, south of Sherbrooke Street specifically between 1:00pm and 2:30pm to come forward.
