Fifth Person Charged In Connection With Murder Of Alex Tobin In Omemee

KAWARTHA LAKES-The OPP haS arrested a fifth person in connection with the investigation into the 2020 murder of Alexander Tobin.

OPP have arrested and charged Clinton McDonald, 29-years-old of Pickering, with Accessory After the Fact (Murder), contrary to Section 240 of the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was arrested in Toronto without incident.

Alex Tobin was shot and killed in February of 2020 at an apartment on King Street East in downtown Omemee.

This remains an ongoing investigation.

A $50,000 reward remains in place for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Alex TOBIN’s murder.
