Fenelon Falls Man Charged In Break And Enter In Peterborough

PETERBOROUGH-A 39-year-old Fenelon Falls man is facing charges after an incident early Thursday morning.

At approximately 3:30 am on May 12, 2022, officers were called to a break and enter in progress at a residence in the Aylmer Street and Westcott Street area. Upon arrival, officers were directed to the basement where an unwanted male was located and taken into custody according to police.

As a result of the investigation, a 39-year-old Fenelon Falls man was arrested and charged with:

  • Theft Under $5000
  • Break, Enter Dwelling House – Commit Indictable Offence
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused was held in custody and appeared in court on May 12, 2022.

Peterborough Police does not release names of people charged with crimes.
