Multiple Charges Laid After Crash on Highway 115 Thursday Night

PETERBOROUGH-Members of the Peterborough County OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 115 at approximately 11:30pm last night.

Police say the vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch. The driver was not injured.

55-year-old Steven Nicholls of Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

• Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs

• Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus

• Operation while prohibited-two counts

• Obstruct peace officer

• Take motor vehicle without consent

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on March 23, 2022.
