Truck Cab Stolen From Peterborough In Connection With Theft Of Firearms Has Been Found In Brampton With No Trailer Or Cargo

PETERBOROUGH-The truck stolen from Peterborough in connection with the theft of firearms has been found according to police.

At approximately 9:30pm on February 14, 2022, Peterborough Police received a call from Peel Regional Police that the truck cab had been located in the Queen Street and Goreway Drive area, which is an industrial area of Brampton.

The trailer and its cargo were not with the truck.

On Sunday, February 13, 2022, a truck carrying more than 2,000 firearms was stolen from a trucking yard in Peterborough. At approximately 7:30am on February 13th, Peterborough Police were made aware of the theft and attended the business located on Parkhill Road East.

The trailer is described as a 2014 Hyundai 53-foot Dry Freight Van trailer, license plate V3092A, white in colour with a silver metallic line that runs horizontally the whole length of the trailer.  In addition, Peterborough Police would like to add that the number on the trailer is 14002.
