Fire Marshal Investigating After 62 year Old Cambray Man Dies In Fire North of Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-City of Kawartha Lakes OPP and the Ontario Fire Marshal are on scene investigating a fire where one person has been pronounced deceased.

At approximately 1:15 a.m. this morning, City of Kawartha Lakes OPP, Fire and EMS were called to a structure fire at a trailer park in Cambray. One person was located at the scene and transported by EMS to a local hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.

The deceased has been identified as Andre Beaucage, 62 years of age, of Cambray. The cause of death remains under investigation pending a post-mortem examination.

 

Damage is estimated to be around $250,000

The OPP remains on scene as the investigation continues with the assistance of the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal and the Office of the Chief Coroner.
