KAWARTHA LAKES – As a large portion of the world has moved into a work from home or hybrid model, I.T. Guys have been called to duty, mending technology, quickly and efficiently.
Brian Robertson, owner of I.T. Guys, has specialized in I.T., information technology, services for the last 20 years. But after the pandemic essentially changed the way they do everything, particularly work. He saw a need and wanted to fill it for residents of the City of Kawartha Lakes.
“With the lockdowns, many storefronts wouldn’t even let you through the front door and many people cannot wait for their technology to be repaired,” Robertson recalled. “We’re going to come to your house, we are going to be safe when we get there, and we are going to fix your issue in the quickest possible time.”
While most situations are time-sensitive, Robertson and his team are always available for technology repairs. His innovative enterprise offers a unique, at- your-door service, responding to house calls as they are needed.
“With I.T. Guys, our main focus is, we go to you, with Covid, there are more people working from home and a lot of people don’t want to leave their house,” he said. “We are a safe operation, gloved up, masked up, with double vaccination.”
Approximately 20 years ago, before his I.T. career began, Robertson got into an I.T. program for retraining purposes. He loved it and excelled.
“I really enjoyed it and stuck with it ever since,” he said.
He went on to have a successful career as a Microsoft Certified Professional. After school he was immediately hired with IBM and went on to Apple as a Senior Adviser.
And with his new business venture, I.T. Guys, Robertson is excited to fill a void and serve his community.
“Viruses, malware, broken parts, power supply, anything inside the computer, we do it all, for all of your I.T. needs, we are it,” said Robertson.
I.T. Guys boasts over 20 years of I.T. experience, all technicians are certified and offer guaranteed, fast service with reasonable repair fees. Privacy and data are also always protected.
According to Doug Parks, owner of Lindsay Dodge Chrysler Ltd, I.T. Guys are quick and efficient.
“I.T. Guys has kept our computers up and running for the better part of 20 years and always goes above and beyond to make sure our machines are working at peak performance,” he said. “We gave him the parts department computer that wasn’t working at 4 pm and it was back the next morning at 7 am. Having a zero downtime for that particular machine was business-critical.”
The first 50 I.T. Guys customers will be entered into a draw and eligible to win a free laptop.
