Driver In Life-Threatening Condition After ATV Collision Near Peterborough

KAWARTHA LAKES-A man was injured in an ATV collision near Peterborough.

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision on McCauley’s Road at approximately 11:30pm on August 6, 2021.

Police say an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) carrying two male parties had crashed into a tree. The driver of the ATV was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The passenger was not injured.

Members of the OPP trained in collision reconstruction attended to measure and document the scene. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
