Public Complaint Leads To Impaired Driving Charge For Keswick Man

KAWARTHA LAKES-Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP have charged a driver after the public called police regarding a traffic complaint.

Police say on August 03, 2021 at approximately 9:00pm, on Highway 7 in Ops Township, officers responded to two traffic complaints regarding the same vehicle. The vehicle was located in Omemee and the driver was allegedly found to be impaired by alcohol.

Leonard Dennis 48 years of age, of Keswick has been charged with operation while impaired, blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) under the Criminal Code.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on August 26, 2021.
