Missing Peterborough Man Found Dead

PETERBOROUGH-A missing 60-year-old Peterborough man has been found dead according to police.

Roy Gillman was last accounted for on June 21, 2021. He was believed to be in the Peterborough area, but also had ties to Cobourg and Port Hope. Gillman was believed to be transient and had been known to seek shelter in tractor-trailers, shipping containers and outbuildings/sheds. Police were asking residents and businesses to check any tractor-trailers, shipping containers or outbuildings on their properties.

On July 27, 2021 police received information regarding the location of Gillman. Police attended the area of The Kingsway and located Mr. Gillman deceased.

Police are currently working with the Coroner regarding this incident and there is no foul play suspected.
