Women’s Water Polo Team With Two Lindsay Sisters Win First Olympic Game In 17 Years

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Canadian women’s water polo team with Lindsay sisters, Emma and Claire Wright have won their first game of the Tokyo Olympics. Emma Wright scored a  goal.

This is Team Canada’s first women’s Olympic water polo tournament win since Athens 2004, 17 years ago. The team qualified for the Olympics with a silver medal performance at the Lima 2019 Pan Am games. The team was playing South Africa and dominated the game with a score of 21-1.

Their final game of the preliminary round is Sunday against the Netherlands.
