KAWARTHA LAKES-Two men are facing charges after a verbal argument turned physical in Lindsay last night.
Police say on July 14, 2021, at 10:26 pm, the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service were called to Lindsay Street South for a weapons call. Two parties had been involved in a verbal argument and one of the parties was struck with a blunt weapon while the other was struck with an edged weapon according to police.
Both parties were treated at the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and both have been charged with weapons-related offences.
Police wish to assure the public there is no concern for public safety.
