Lindsay Man Facing Impaired Driving Charge After Being Pulled Over Near Fenelon Falls

KAWARTHA LAKES-City of Kawartha Lakes OPP has charged a driver with Impaired Operation after officers observed a vehicle allegedly being driven in a concerning manner.

Officers came across the vehicle on July 9, 2021, shortly after 1:00 p.m., while patrolling Killarney Bay Road, in the area of Fenelon Falls. The driver was directed to pull over for further investigation.

As a result of the ensuing investigation, Kenneth Ferrier, 32 years of age, of Lindsay, has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concertation (80 plus)
  • Operation while prohibited

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on July 22, 2021.

Police remind residents if you cannot drive sober, don’t drive. If you suspect an impaired driver, call 9-1-1.
