Two People Charged After Police Respond To Break And Enter In Progress In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Two people are facing charges after police responded to a break and enter in progress in Lindsay.

Police say on Friday, July 2, 2021, at 12:17pm, City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to a call for a break and enter in progress.  The homeowner is in the process of renovating the residence, attended to do some work and found two people in the residence gathering tools according to police.  The complainant called 9-1-1 and police responded and were able to arrest both parties.  

Charged with Break and Enter, Mischief Under $5000, Theft Under $5000, Assault, and Breach Probation is 36-year-old Kevin Colvin of Lindsay.  Charged with Break and Enter, Mischief Under $5000 and Theft Under $5000 is 35-year-old Peggy Zwicker of Lindsay. 

Both parties are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Lindsay, on August 12, 2021.
