Police Looking For Suspect After Robbery Where Man Indicated He Had A Gun

KAWARTHA LAKES_Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating another robbery at a Lindsay business. This is the second in as many days.

Police say on March 3 at 11:07pm the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to a William Street North business reporting a robbery. A lone suspect reportedly entered the store, immediately approached the cashier, indicated he had a gun and demanded the cashier give him money. The suspect punched a plastic protective barrier causing it to fall behind the counter. He received a quantity of cash and fled the store.

Video surveillance revealed the white male suspect described as, 5’8”, thin build, 20-25 years, wearing a black/grey jacket with skull and bones image on upper front area, royal blue hooded sweater, black jogging pants with stripe on the side and a red bandana covering his face.

On March 3rd at 1:19am the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to a Lindsay Street South business reporting a robbery. A lone suspect reportedly entered the store, proceeded behind the counter and while holding a knife demanded money. The suspect removed a quantity of cash from the cash register and left the store.

Video surveillance on the property revealed the white male suspect described as, approximately 5’7”, wearing black running shoes, grey track pants, black hooded jacket, black sweater, black mask and a black baseball cap with a team Canada hockey logo on the front and was carrying a black backpack.
