Lindsay Man Who Missed Court Appearance Now Facing Drug Charges

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Lindsay man may be wishing he had shown up for a recent court appearance.

Police say on Friday February 26, 2021 the City of Kawartha Lakes Police arrested a male wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court.

At the time of the arrest, the individual was found in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, ecstasy pills, a quantity of cash and a digital scale according to police. 

As a result of this investigation, 29-year-old Kevin Palmer of Lindsay has been charged with possession of a scheduled I substance for the purpose of trafficking X4, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 and fail to comply with probation.

The accused was held in custody to attend a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice.
