KAWARTHA LAKES-A 24-year-old man is facing an impaired driving charge after a crash in Lindsay.
Police say on February 10, 2021, at 10:22 am the City of Kawartha Lakes Police responded to a call for a single motor vehicle collision on St Paul Street in Lindsay. The vehicle had left the roadway and struck a grouping of trees, according to police.
Police arrived, upon speaking with the driver, the officer determined that the driver was impaired and placed under arrest. A 24-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle – alcohol and drugs.
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on March 11, 2021.Â
