OPP Seeking Help From The Public After Series Of Break And Enters

KAWARTHA LAKES – After a series of break and enters, the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is seeking the assistance of the public.

According to police, investigators are currently looking for information that may lead to one or more suspects regarding multiple break and enters that took place at local gas stations between November 15 and January 1, 2021.

Police say those responsible for the crimes forcibly gained entry by damaging the front door.

Those with information regarding these crimes or any other similar incidents are asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcrimestoppers.com and submitting an anonymous tip online.
