KAWARTHA LAKES-The driver of a truck involved in a two vehicle crash on County Road 8 this morning was trapped when his vehicle rolled over, landing in a ditch according to witnesses.
Witnesses say two trucks became involved in a collision near Stinson’s Bay Road at approximately 10:30 am. One truck was pulling a trailer and the other truck spun around and ended up, upside down in the ditch. The driver was trapped. He was extricated by emergency crews, checked out by EMS and released according to witnesses.The occupants in the other vehicle were not injured. It appears the boat is a write -off.
Police were directing traffic around the incident, the road remained open.
There’s no word on charges.
