KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Service are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying porch pirates, who they say took an amazon package from the doorstep of a residence in Lindsay.

Porch Pirates are described thieves who steal delivered packages from doorsteps or porches.

Tips to prevent becoming a victim:

• Have packages delivered to your workplace or another secure location if you are not going to be home.
• Install a security camera and motion censored lighting.
• If you see something or someone suspicious, report it to police.

The Kawartha Lakes Police Service is asking that anyone with information about this incident contact police at 705.324.5252 or [email protected].
