KAWARTHA LAKES- Two men have been arrested following an investigation into the sale of cocaine and heroin in Lindsay.
On November 17, 2020, the Kawartha Lakes Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit arrested two men, travelling in a vehicle on Wellington Street.
According to police, the two men had 19 grams of cocaine, 1 gram of heroin and $1600 in cash in their possession. Both men have been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of proceeds of crime under $5000.
The accused, Gerri Carvalho of Toronto, 26, and Jason Robert Wilson of Lindsay, 42, will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, 440 Kent Street West, Lindsay on January 14, 2020.
