Canoe returned to owner after being found on rural property

KAWARTHA LAKES-A red canoe has been returned too it’s rightful owner after being found on a rural property.

Police say on October 31, 2020 officers attended a residence in the former Laxton-Digby- Longford Township area when the homeowner located a trailer and canoe on the property. The canoe, a 14′ cedar strip, red in colour was on a trailer that was transported back to the OPP detachment where the investigation identified the owner.

Just in time to be put away for the winter!
