Police investigating report of assault in Lindsay park

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating an assault that they say may have occurred between 2:00AM and 3:00AM on Tuesday September 8th.

Police say it happened in the park area between Hamilton Street and Albert Street South in Lindsay. On September 12, a victim contacted police to report they had been assaulted in the park by three people.

Anyone who may have information about the incident is asked to contact the Kawartha Lakes Police Service at 705.324.5252. Or if you wish to provide your information anonymously you can do so through Crime Stoppers at 1.800.222.TIPS (8477) or at www.kh.crimestoppersweb.com.
