KAWARTHA LAKES-A Peterborough man was arrested and charged after the OPP was called to an altercation at Emily Provincial Park.
Police say on July 21, 2020 officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to a request received from the Warden at Emily Provincial Park. Investigation led to the arrest of Corey Beeke, 23 years of age who was charged with assault a peace officer, contrary to the Criminal Code
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Co urt of Justice in Lindsay on October 1, 2020.
