Burn Ban lifted in City of Kawartha Lakes

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue Service has lifted the municipal-wide burn ban effective today, July 20.

As of this morning, the current burn hazard index is set to high.

“Residents are asked to use caution if they are burning. Fires should be supervised by an adult at all times and a means of controlling fires should be present.” said officials in a press release.
