KAWARTHA LAKES-A 62 year old man is facing charges after allegations of harassment.
Police say on June 10, 2020 an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to a call for service stemming from a domestic situation. The investigation revealed that the complainant had received repetitive unwanted communications via e-mail, voice mail and text messages.
As a result of the investigation the officer located and arrested the party who now faces the Criminal Code offence of Harassing Communications. No name was released by police.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on August 27, 2020.
