KAWARTHA LAKES-Walmart Canada has confirmed two staff at their Chemong Road Superstore have tested positive for Coronavirus.
“Two associates from our Peterborough South Supercentre have tested positive for COVID-19.” Adam Grachnik – Director, Corporate Affairs, Walmart told Kawartha 411. “We are in contact with the associates and are keeping them in our thoughts. Everyone at Walmart wishes them a speedy recovery.”
Grachnik says both staff last worked April 21st and associates identified as being in close prolonged contact have been directed to self-isolate.
“We have regular enhanced cleaning in the store and other social distancing measures in place. We have contacted public health.” Grachnik stated.
