KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha 411 News has learned that a DJ at the Wolf 101.5 in Peterborough is facing child pornography charges.

Peterborough Police say on April 16, 2020 officers executed a warrant at a Peterborough residence where various electronics were located and seized and the accused was located and placed under arrest.

As a result of the investigation 40 year old Ryan Andrew LaLonde of Rogers Street, was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.

The accused was held in custody and appeared in court on April 16, 2020. Lalonde has been a DJ at The Wolf, owned by Corus Entertainment,  for many years. He also attended LCVI in Lindsay.

“We take these matters very seriously and can confirm that this employee has been immediately suspended.” Rishma Jovani, Corus Communications told Kawartha 411 News. “As this matter is before the courts we are unable to offer further comment.”
