KAWARTHA LAKES-A Haliburton man is facing charges after a vehicle stolen in Lindsay was found in Barrie.
Police say on December 3, 2019 the Kawartha Lakes Police Service received the report that a vehicle had been stolen from an address on Kent Street West in Lindsay. On December 7, the stolen vehicle was recovered by police in the Barrie area.
Investigation by the Kawartha Lakes Police Service led to a warrant being issued for the arrest of the suspect. Â On January 20, 2020 the Kawartha Lakes Police Service located and arrested 29-year-old Daniel Sherri of Haliburton.
The accused has been charged with theft over $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime. He will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street west in Lindsay on February 27, 2020.
