Two Bobcaygeon residents charged with impaired driving over the weekend

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP arrested and charged two drivers from Bobcaygeon with alcohol related driving offences over the weekend.

Police say the first driver was arrested on December 21, 2019 following a traffic complaint. The vehicle was located on Highway 7 west of Lindsay at approximately 6:45pm. Following an investigation the driver, 40 year old Gerri-Ann GAUTHIER of Bobcaygeon was arrested and charged with Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The subject vehicle of a second complaint was located at approximately 6am on December 22, 2019 in the Fenelon Falls area. Following an investigation the 31 year old driver, Branden Beatty of Bobcaygeon was arrested and charged with Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
