Man armed with a baseball bat charged with threatening resident of Lindsay apartment building

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 36 year old Lindsay man is facing charges after allegedly threatening to take a baseball bat to a resident of an apartment in Lindsay.

Police say on December 10, 2019 at 4:23PM the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service was called an apartment building in Lindsay in response to the report of a man who was armed with a baseball bat, pacing the hallway and threatening to harm a resident of the building.

Officers could not locate the man at the time, but investigators were successful in determining his identity.  On December 17, 2019 at 1:35PM the suspect was located and arrested.

Charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and three counts of failing to comply with the conditions of his probation order is 36-year-old Michael James Martin of Lindsay.
