Tree top falls on vehicles at Kinmount Fair

KAWARTHA LAKES-It was a close call for revellers at the Kinmount Fair Friday night after a tree came crashing to the ground.

Witnesses say the top fell off the tree and landed on a number of vehicles. Some appeared to be heavily damaged. According to people at the fair the tree had been recently struck by lightning. This has not been confirmed by fair officials.
