Oshawa man facing impaired driving charges after vehicle stop near Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 27 year old man had his vehicle impounded and license suspended after a vehicle stop near Lindsay early Sunday morning.

Police say an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP initiated a traffic investigation on
Sunday July 28, 2019 shortly after 1am. The vehicle was stopped on Highway 35 just
north of Mt. Horeb Road.

Following an investigation, the driver, 27 year old Connor Blanchfield of Oshawa, was
arrested and charged with Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80
plus) contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
