Police asking for help locating two stolen kayaks

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is currently investigating the theft of two unique kayaks from a seasonal residence.

Police say on May 28th officers were called to a seasonal residence on Crane Bay Road in response to the theft. The kayaks are described as follows:

The first kayak is an “Emotion” brand, blue in colour that is not common to Canada. The second kayak is a “Dimension Spirit” kayak, with a custom colour scheme.

Anyone having information on this crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcs.ca and submitting an anonymous tip online.
