Ministry of Labour investigating workplace accident in Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Ministry of Labour has been called to investigate a workplace injury in Lindsay.

Police say on Thursday May 9th at 9:18am the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service was informed that a workplace accident had occurred at a job site on Richard Avenue in Lindsay.

It was reported that a worker had been taken to Ross Memorial Hospital for injuries he sustained after falling allegedly off a roof.

Officers contained the scene until representatives from the Ministry of Labour arrived to investigate. The worker’s injuries were described as being non-life threatening.
