Kawartha Lakes Police find body of man who went missing Thursday night

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police have found the body of a man who went missing last night.

Police say they began a missing person investigation on March 14th, 2019 at 11 pm. The investigation continued throughout the evening hours. At 9:10 am, a male party was found deceased in the area of Stoney Creek Road near Highway 35 in the former Ops Township.

It is believed to be the body of the 58 year old missing person. The investigation is continuing, although foul play is not suspected.

Any members of the public with information about this incident is asked to contact Detective Constable Hagarty at 705-342-5252.
