Cannington man facing numerous charges after traffic stop

KAWARTHA LAKES-An officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP stopped a vehicle in Woodville Sunday morning, March 10, 2019 at approximately 10:30 am for an alleged traffic infraction.

Police say following an investigation the driver, 40 year old Fredrick Shrubb of Cannington was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (plus 80) contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Drive While Suspended contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
  • Drive Motor Vehicle No Currently Validated Permit contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
  • Fail to Surrender Insurance Card contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
