Cocaine and prohibited weapon seized in Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-City of Kawartha Lakes Police Drug Enforcement Unit seized cocaine and a prohibited weapon after executing a search warrant in Lindsay.

The operation was part of an investigation into the sale of cocaine and other controlled substances in the City of Kawartha Lakes.  A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of cocaine, as well as a prohibited weapon on February 26th.  Two occupants of the home were arrested.

Charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a prohibited weapon are 34-year-old Kevin Justin Colvin and 33-year-old Peggy Zwicher of Lindsay.  Both accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street west in Lindsay on March 28, 2019.
